but why does the choice of colour matter to you? i tell you, i did not choose the colour but terryn did, so its not even because orange is my fav colour.
on the other hand, you need to fucking agree with orange. because someone started a thing and chose orange. this project eventually got popular in the fandom and it's not like everyone votes for their preferred colour and got changed monthly, that would be really confusing wouldnt it.
terryn admitted that she chose orange because homestuck already is really colourful and a lot of people would have paired red with dave, blue with john ETC BECAUSE everyone has their colour more or less. (even orange.)
she was trying to refer to homestuck in its entirety, not in a character-centered way. also, i dont think you can just put in a rainbow, saying homestuck is colourful (this way it contains everyone!!) and (see the list mentioned) some characters are confessed bisexuals, gays, lesbians whatever. (sexuality is not the point in a webcomic like homestuck, in my opinion)
maybe you are still unsure what the meaning behind orange is. well, i dont know. and it is not even important. not everything has a reason.
someone tried to make a way for fans to recognise each other and have fun, either by feeling connected or actually meeting other fans. she obviously had to choose a colour... and she did!!
so lets just agree on how you either get pissed by my reply and leave this project alone because the symbol is not fucking blue or you maybe man up and accept other people's choices.
